About Neurodiverse Solutions

A Journey of Resilience: From Darkness to Light

I was born into a world shaped by a communist regime, and raised by a

compassionate psychiatric nurse whose untimely passing ignited my passion for caring for others. However, my journey took a harrowing turn in 2020.

Overwhelmed by undiagnosed neurodivergent conditions and a toxic work

environment, I made serious errors in judgment. The consequences were devastating: NMC investigations, suspension, and even arrest. The emotional turmoil of these events, compounded by my child's distress, pushed me to the brink.

Yet, from the depths of despair, I found the strength to rise. I sought professional help, received diagnoses of ADHD, dyspraxia, and autism, and embarked on a

journey of self-discovery and healing. Through therapy and rigorous training, I learned to manage my conditions, advocate for myself, and rediscover my purpose.

My journey highlighted the significant gaps in support for individuals with undiagnosed neurodivergent conditions. The long waiting lists for assessments and the lack of understanding within healthcare systems forced me to take matters into my own hands. I paid privately for assessments, a financial burden that many others cannot afford.

Inspired by my experiences and fuelled by compassion, I vowed to use my story to promote patient safety, advocate for better mental health support, and raise awareness about neurodiversity.

Today, I stand as a testament to the human spirit's incredible resilience. I have emerged from the darkness, stronger and more determined than ever. I am grateful for the lessons learned and the challenges overcome, and after 4 years I can be a nurse again.

Drawing on my personal and professional experiences, I aim to provide tailored training and support to individuals and organisations, fostering a more inclusive and understanding society.

My goal is to bridge the gap in support for neurodivergent individuals, ensuring they receive the timely assessments and support they need.
